VANTA DOCUMENTATION
ER:LC Integration
Connect an authorised ER:LC private server, check live data, and complete the separate authorisation required for supported remote management.
Connect your ER:LC server
Open ER:LC setup
Open the ER:LC setup section from your Vanta dashboard. You need access to the dashboard and authority to manage the private server you are connecting.
Enter the Server Key
Enter the Server Key for the private server. Keep the key private and never place it in screenshots, Discord messages, public repositories, or support tickets.
Run the connection check
Complete the connection check and wait for Vanta to confirm that it can read the server information.
Check live data
After the connection succeeds, open the server area and confirm that current server information is being received.
Remote management authorisation
Live server data and remote management are separate capabilities. A successful Server Key connection does not by itself authorise Vanta to send supported management commands.
Wait for the authorisation step
After the ER:LC connection succeeds, look for the Authorize Vanta step in the setup flow when it is available for your server.
Complete owner authorisation
The server owner should complete the provider authorisation flow. Do not ask another community member to authorise a server they do not control.
Test a supported action
Return to the server controls area and test a supported management action. If it fails, check the exact error before changing permissions or reconnecting the server.
What Vanta can receive
Depending on the connected ER:LC API data and the Vanta feature being used, the dashboard can receive information such as server status, players, staff activity, queue information, vehicles, and supported event records.
Live values come from an external service, so a temporary outage, rate limit, or provider change can make some information unavailable.
Troubleshooting the connection
Connection fails
Check that the Server Key belongs to the intended private server and that the server is available through the ER:LC API.
Live data is missing
Refresh the dashboard and check the ER:LC connection again. A saved connection can still have a temporary external API problem.
Remote management fails
Confirm the owner completed the separate authorisation step. If the provider reports that a command is restricted, that command may not be available for the current server or account.
Never expose credentials
If you contact support, describe the error without sending the Server Key or another secret.
