Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. About Vanta

Vanta is operated by Dan, known online as Danman311009 on Roblox and dan.2947 on Discord.

These Terms apply to the Vanta website, dashboard, Discord bot, integrations, documentation and related services. By using Vanta, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. What Vanta provides

Vanta provides tools for managing online communities, particularly communities connected to ER:LC private servers. Depending on your setup, Vanta may provide staff management, applications, duty tracking, moderation tools, server information, logs, Discord integrations, Roblox integrations, ER:LC integrations, permissions, and related administration features.

Vanta will change over time. Features can be added, changed, or removed as the service develops. Where the law requires notice, we will provide it.

3. Accounts and authority

You are responsible for activity carried out through your Vanta account and for keeping your account and connected permissions secure.

If you connect a Discord server, Roblox account, ER:LC private server, or another resource, you must have the authority to make that connection. Community owners and administrators are responsible for making sure that staff members receive only the access they need and that access is removed when it is no longer appropriate.

4. Your responsibilities

You must use Vanta lawfully and responsibly. You must not use Vanta to gain unauthorised access to an account, server, community, API, or other system. You must not deliberately interfere with the service, bypass security controls, abuse rate limits, introduce malicious software, attempt to exploit vulnerabilities without permission, impersonate another person or organisation, or use Vanta for fraud.

You must also follow the rules and terms of services that you connect to Vanta. Vanta cannot give you permission to break the rules of Discord, Roblox, ER:LC, or another provider.

5. Community administration

Community owners and administrators are responsible for their communities, including the information they submit, the permissions they assign, the records they maintain, and the decisions they make using Vanta.

If you use Vanta to collect information from other people, you are responsible for having an appropriate reason and, where required, a lawful basis to collect and use that information. You should not collect information that you do not reasonably need.

6. Content and permissions

You retain responsibility for content and information that you submit to Vanta. You give Vanta permission to store, process, transmit, and display that information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

You must not submit information that you are not authorised to provide, and you should not place passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, or other confidential credentials into ordinary forms, notes, applications, or support messages.

7. ER:LC and third party services

Vanta can depend on services operated by other organisations, including Discord, Roblox, ER:LC, hosting providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, and other service providers. Those services have their own rules, availability, and technical limits.

Vanta is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Roblox Corporation, Discord, or Police Roleplay Community unless we expressly state otherwise. A third party can change or withdraw an API or service without Vanta being able to prevent that change.

8. ER:LC access and remote management

Some Vanta features use the ER:LC Private Server API. A server owner or authorised administrator must have the necessary authority before connecting a private server or authorising remote management.

Vanta may limit or disable ER:LC functionality when an API requirement, provider restriction, security concern, technical issue, or misuse makes that necessary.

9. Vanta is free

Vanta is completely free to use. The features currently available in the dashboard are included without a paid tier or subscription.

If this changes in the future, we will make any price and included features clear before a paid service is purchased.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Vanta reliable and available, and we work to minimise downtime. However, Vanta does not provide an uptime guarantee and we do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Maintenance, security work, technical failures, provider outages, API changes and events outside our reasonable control can affect the service.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect Vanta or its users, respond to a security issue, address fraud or abuse, comply with law, comply with a third party requirement, address a material breach of these Terms, or prevent serious harm to the service.

You can stop using Vanta at any time. Some information may remain for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, backups, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the enforcement of these Terms.

12. Intellectual property

Vanta, including its software, interface, branding, logos, documentation, and original content, is owned by or licensed to the Vanta operator. Except where these Terms or applicable law allow it, you may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create a competing service from Vanta's proprietary material.

Third party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Vanta is provided on an as available basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, completely secure, or compatible with every third party platform.

Information supplied by an external API may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or changed by its provider. Vanta should not be treated as the sole source of truth where an external provider is responsible for the underlying information.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, Vanta is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the service, unauthorised community administration, failures of independent third party services, inaccurate external data, or events outside our reasonable control.

15. Changes to Vanta

Vanta may change over time. Features can be added, changed, removed or replaced as the service develops. We may also make changes for security, reliability, technical or legal reasons.

16. If Vanta changes or closes

We hope to keep Vanta available for the long term, but we cannot guarantee that it will operate forever. If Vanta is substantially changed or discontinued, users will be able to request their relevant data where applicable and legally possible.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Vanta changes or when clarification or legal updates are needed. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Where the law requires additional notice, we will provide it.

18. Governing law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, mandatory rights that apply to you continue to apply, and nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict them.

19. Contact

If you have a question about these Terms, your account, or the Vanta service, contact us through the official Vanta Support Server.
