VANTA DOCUMENTATION
Dashboard setup
Configure a Vanta dashboard, connect Discord and ER:LC, and build access around the jobs people actually need to perform.
1. Check the dashboard
Open the correct community
Use the dashboard selector and confirm the server name and branding before changing anything.
Check your own access
Make sure you can open the areas you are responsible for. If a feature is missing, review your permissions before changing the whole server.
2. Connect Discord
Start Discord setup
Open the Discord setup area and select the community you want Vanta to manage.
Check the Vanta role
Make sure the Vanta bot has the permissions required by the features you are enabling. Its role must also be high enough for any Discord role actions you expect it to perform.
Check channels
For logging, verification, applications, and other channel based features, confirm that Vanta can view and send messages in the selected channels.
3. Connect ER:LC
Enter the Server Key
Use the Server Key belonging to the private server you are authorised to manage. Keep it private.
Check live data
Return to the server area and confirm that current server information is being received.
Authorise remote management
If you need supported remote actions, complete the separate authorisation step after the connection succeeds.
4. Configure access
Create administrator access
Give only trusted administrators the permissions needed to change server configuration.
Create staff access
Give staff access to the areas they actually manage.
Test the result
Sign in with a test or trusted staff account and check both allowed and unavailable actions.
5. Finish feature setup
Continue through the feature guides in the documentation. Each guide explains what to configure, how to use it, and what to check when something fails.
